Terms of Use

This site compiles laptop specifications from public sources. It is provided as-is — verify anything that matters before purchasing.

• Personal use, comparison, and sharing links are welcome.
• Bulk scraping, republication of the dataset, commercial reuse, and use of this data for training machine-learning models are prohibited.
• Optional analytics helps us understand page visits, search usage, filters, comparisons, and merchant clicks. It starts only after you allow it.
• Optional session replay starts only after you allow it. It records clicks, scrolling, and page changes on eligible public catalog pages to help us improve usability. Inputs and forms are excluded; pages with query parameters or URL fragments are not recorded. Each recording is limited to five minutes per page. Recordings older than 30 days are deleted daily.

Privacy

We count successful page requests on our server, including before you make a choice or after rejection. We retain only daily totals by page category for 180 days, without visitor identifiers, IP addresses, browser details, full URLs, or individual visit records. These counters use no analytics scripts, cookies, or browser storage and cannot identify unique visitors or connect visits together. Reloads and bots may be included.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal data, object to processing, or complain to your data-protection authority. We may be unable to associate unlinked analytics records with a particular person. You can withdraw optional collection directly through Privacy settings.

Analytics and replay are separate optional choices. Replay needs an analytics session, so enabling replay also enables analytics. Rejecting or ignoring the banner leaves both off. Use Privacy settings in the footer to withdraw permission at any time; this stops further collection and reloads the page. Withdrawal does not undo earlier collection.

With permission, our self-hosted Umami service collects page and product activity, result counts, filter categories, device/browser information, approximate location, and referring website. We do not send raw search terms, filter values, query strings, or URL fragments in analytics events. IP addresses are received to deliver requests and derive approximate location; the analytics is not described as fully anonymous. We do not sell this data or use it for cross-site advertising.

We remember your choices for 180 days in this browser. A minimal consent receipt records a random receipt identifier, the choices, notice version, and time for 180 days. These records support consent management and aggregate choice counts; they are separate from browsing analytics and contain no browsing history. Clearing browser storage removes your local choice. Operator exclusions and enabled Global Privacy Control also suppress optional collection.

Analytics history is retained for up to 180 days; replays for 30 days. Separate merchant-click records contain no visitor identifier and are retained for historical reporting. These automated deletion limits apply to the active stores. Hosting and access are managed by the site operator; the analytics service is self-hosted on our Hetzner server.

Consent is our basis for optional analytics and replay. Essential request handling, abuse prevention, and preference storage operate to provide and protect the site. The site is a public laptop catalog, with no customer accounts or checkout; merchant sites have their own privacy practices.
